So about a year ago, we bought our cat, Cooper,  a little kitty bed.  We put it in a couple different places around the house, but he never used it.   

Instead, he has always enjoyed using our dog’s bed.  So we just sort of forgot about it.  But I happened to notice it last week and thought maybe we should put it in our bedroom, because when we’re in there, Cooper usually is too.  He still didn’t use it.  

So I said to my husband, Frank, “Let’s put some catnip in the bed”.  

Guess what?

Cooper went right over to his bed, started rolling around on it and then went right to sleep.  

Now, Cooper uses his own bed all the time and this gives Lucas a chance to use his bed by himself, which he seems to enjoy!
