I’ve been wanting to take our dog, Lucas, to a nearby park that has a large pond with a fountain. It also has some trails and there is some good wildlife to see.  I love this park.  

The pond has fish and turtles and there are ducks and geese all around.  So we finally brought Lucas there this past weekend and it was so much fun.  

We brought him for a walk around the pond and we stopped to watch the geese and their babies.  Lucas was pretty impressed.   I was happy to see some big turtles just laying out in the sun basking.  We also discovered some trails that I hadn’t even known were there.   Of course, we brought along Lucas’s new little portable water dish.  This was the first time we used it and it worked out great.
